What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

Mesotherapy is a non surgical skin rejuvenation treatment aimed at diminishing problem areas on the face and body.

Mesotherapy treatment can be used for face, neck and under eye rejuvenation and also for common concerns such as

hair thinning.

Is Mesotherapy Painful?

Mesotherapy for fat melting involves multiple injections deep into the deep dermal layer/superfacial fat layer. Some degree of discomfort is to be expected, but much of it is psychological due to our natural aversion to needles.

For many cocktails, the discomfort is from the needles piercing the skin. With a swift, steady hand and tiny needles, the pain is minimized, especially with simple anesthesia of the skin.

When is the treatment done?

If you want to remove cellulite or extra fat from your thighs, stomach, buttocks, hips, legs, arms and face; you can go for mesotherapy.

It can also help you to reduce wrinkles and lines as well as lighten your pigmented skin. Also, if you are suffering from alopecia, mesotherapy may come to your rescue.

How is Mesotherapy performed?

  • Standard Needle Technique
  • Needle Free Mesotherapy
  • Standard Needle Technique
The standard mesotherapy technique must be done by a licensed physician who has received proper training in performing mesotherapy procedures. Using a fine needle (similar to the type used for Botox injections), the physician injects into the mesoderm the specific formula selected to treat your condition. The needles penetrate the body at only a very small depth. The number of injections and strength of each medication treatment is determined on an individual basis. Generally, patients require one treatment every ten to fourteen (10 – 14) days depending on the location and size of the area being treated. The injections are made at small distances (15 to 1 cm intervals along the affected area) and in small doses per treatment.
  • Needle Free Mesotherapy
The needle free mesotherapy injection system is known as the Iontophoresis System. It provides a non-invasive effective and comfortable alternative to the mesotherapy injections.
It is the only system that is FDA cleared for the transdermal delivery of the mesotherapy drugs into the body with no need of either injections or syringes. In this method electricity power is used to drive the drugs in to the mesoderm by the Iontophoresis/electrophoresis.

How many sessions of mesotherapy do I need to recover?

Generally this all depends on how much fat you want to melt and how you react to the treatment. We can only give you estimation when we see you.

  • We have melted saddle-bags in 1-2 sessions.
  • Love handles can also be melted in 2-3 sessions.
  • For large tummies, up to 10 sessions may be needed.
  • For facial contouring, up to 3.

Will Mesotherapy Tighten Up Loose Skin?

The advantage of Mesotherapy over Liposuction is the ability to add in skin-firming DMAE to the cocktail for skin lifting effects. This reduces the risk of excess loose skin after the fat is destroyed.

Use of skin firming equipment can further reduce the risk of loose skin.

What are the Mesotherapy anti-aging and skin rejuvenation uses?

Subdermal vitamin injections rejuvenate the cells, making them more active, and thereby stimulating the production of collagen and elastin which results in complete rejuvenation of the intended area's skin.

How much time generally it takes for the treatment?

Generally it takes approximately 30-60 minutes; it may vary upon the situation. Mesotherapy treatments times may vary depend on size of the area being treated.
